Women don't turn to politicians for advice about mammograms, pre-natal care
or cancer treatments: and Texas women feel strongly that politicians should not be involved in personal medical decisions about their pregnancies. At the Governor's urging, the Texas Legislature is once again trying to
interfere with a woman's most personal and private decisions.
Some politicians are trying to pass laws
that would take the decision about abortion away from a woman and her family.
They plan to shut down women's health centers, ban abortion at a point in
pregnancy when a woman might learn about serious medical complications, and much
more.
Support Texas women, urge your elected representatives to vote no on
any measure that blocks access to women's health services.
